Mommy Pots

Bet you are asking yourself, "What the heck is a mommy pot"? Well, they are miniature pottery vases -smaller than a bud vase. They are intended for flowers picked by children, who don't always manage to pluck them with the stem intact. Sometimes they are just flower heads, which you can rest on top of the vase. Hopefully they are not from your neighbors rose garden -yikes! Whatever the condition of the flowers, children always want their toil in flower picking noticed. These little pots are to display those tiny treasures. Even a simple dandelion will look great and be something special.

There is no age limit for the delight of picking roadside flowers. How nice on Mothers Day, to get a breakfast in bed tray with one of these vases on top filled with hand picked flowers? They just make things a little more special.

When you aren't using them for flowers, store your toothpicks, tweezers and nail clippers or Q-tips in them. Keep one on your kitchen windowsill for storing rings while cooking messy foods (meatloaf anyone?).
